The old-style traps which we'd all grown to know and love featured little metal triggers which had to be craftily baited with cheese, peanut butter, bacon, or whatever the local rodentia seemed to crave.
The newest version has this stupid plastic thing which is designed to look like a stylised piece of cheese (more for the setter's benefit than the victim's....) and claims not to need any bait.
So far, it is working - for the mice, anyway. I have not caught a single one, despite evident sign that they are abundantly moving into the shop in the fall weather.
I am searching diligently for the old "inferior" traps....
How Do I?
