Spanish Ro Ja-Ja-Ja-Ja

In this year's international garlic wars, German Red (left) obviously whupped up on Spanish Roja, from which I don't think I even made back my seed. A note to northern gardners; softneck garlic varieties may taste good, but they're hardly worth the effort. All our hopes now rest on "Italian Late" and "Silver Rose". Sounds like a horse race, and I probably should have laid down some horse manure before starting this....
